Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies LOAM uses on loam.st and on storefronts hosted on LOAM, and how merchants and end customers can control them.

Last updated: 2026-05-12

Draft notice. This document is an interim version while LOAM's legal counsel finalises the platform's policy stack. It is offered in good faith; for the avoidance of doubt, the binding version will be re-published with a clear effective date once review is complete.

Strictly necessary

Used to keep you signed in, maintain cart state, and protect against abuse. These do not require consent and cannot be turned off without breaking core functionality.

Functional

Used to remember preferences (locale, currency, theme). These improve the experience but are not essential.

Analytics

LOAM uses privacy-respecting first-party analytics by default — no third-party trackers, no shared identifiers — so most stores do not require a consent banner under EU / UK law. Merchants who enable third-party analytics on their store are responsible for surfacing the appropriate consent flow.

Marketing

LOAM does not set marketing cookies on the platform marketing site. Stores hosted on LOAM may choose to enable marketing tags; when they do, customers see a consent prompt before any such tag fires.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the platform and checkout. For consent-mode preferences on individual storefronts, use the cookie preferences link in the store footer.
