The most common request we heard from merchants in beta was not "more themes" or "more analytics" — it was email. Specifically: "I know I should be sending lifecycle emails, but I have no idea where to start, and I don't want to rent another Klaviyo seat."
So we built it in. As of today, every new LOAM store ships with a 9-touch lifecycle programme — drafted by the agent, branded to match the storefront, and sent from your own domain.
The 9 touches
- Welcome — sent within an hour of first signup
- Browse abandonment — triggered after 24 hours of viewing without buying
- Cart abandonment — sent at 1 hour, 24 hours, and 72 hours
- Order confirmation — automatic, LOAM-branded by default but easy to restyle
- Shipping notification — pulls tracking from your fulfillment provider
- Delivery follow-up — review prompt 7 days post-delivery
- First-time buyer thank you — 14 days post-purchase
- Replenishment reminder — for consumable products, timed to product type
- Win-back — for customers who haven't purchased in 90 days
What's interesting under the hood
Every email is drafted from your store's voice and product data, not a template. Subject lines reference the actual products in the recipient's cart. Imagery comes from your catalogue. Footer disclaimers are generated to match your jurisdiction.
You can edit any draft from the dashboard. The agent learns from your edits — if you consistently rewrite the welcome email's tone, it adapts the others to match.
What's next
We're working on broadcast campaigns (one-off newsletters) and flow extensions — allowing merchants to add custom triggers like "left a 1-star review" or "purchased a gift card". Both ship in the next two months.
